"The gift of kings" – Amouage redefines the Arabian art of perfumery
Today, Amouage is internationally known as a luxury perfume house – with arabian perfume culture at its heart. The creation of the finest eau de parfums from the most exquisite ingredients of the Middle East took its origin in the Sultanate of Oman in 1983. The current regent, Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said asked his Highness Sayyid Hamad bin Hamoud al bu Said to bring the arabian perfume art back to their homeland.
From then on, the fragrance house for luxurious perfumes spared no expense and effort to revive the perfume art of the Orient, which had existed since ancient times. Already the first perfume of the exclusive brand Amouage, which was created in collaboration with the famous perfumer Guy Robert, became a global success: Amouage Gold is still a bestseller today.
